Telegraaf survey reveals: political confidence at its lowest point | Inland

Citizens have had enough of the way in which politics in The Hague rushes from incident to incident. More than three quarters of the Dutch think that politicians are too busy with themselves and too little with solving problems. Confidence has reached an absolute low point, according to a poll commissioned by De Telegraaf in the week after the much-discussed ‘Nokiagate’.

The cabinet is also not very popular: since they took office, the proportion of Dutch people who have no confidence in Rutte, Kaag and the rest of the ministerial team has risen from 61 to 68 percent.
