Teemu Suninen drives in a Hyundai stable.

Teemu Suninen will drive a Hyundai WRC2 car next season, the stable says in a press release.
Suninen will drive seven World Rally Championships in a Hyundai i20 N Rally2, the first of which is due in late May in Portugal. He works as a Finn’s co-driver Mikko Markkula.
– I am very excited to be back in the Hyundai team and compete in the full season WRC2 class, Suninen said in the team’s press release.
– The opportunity to test regularly and be involved in the development of the car were the reasons why this offer was attractive for this season, he continued.
Already last season, Suninen was able to drive a Hyundai WRC car at the Monza World Rally Championship.
As Suninen’s teammate this season to drive Fabrizio Zaldivar. Zaldivar, 21, from Paraguay, drove in the WRC3 class last season.
Hyundai team manager Julien Moncet believes the team will be upgraded to second place in the World Series.
– With Teemu and Fabrizio, we believe we can win the WRC2 championship this year.
