Emotions spilled over in the men’s Superpesis in a match between Kiri of Kempele and Maila of Joensuu.

KeKin’s game manager Teemu Körkkö nervous in the second episode of the jury’s decision and rushed to shout at the striped shirts. The situation was saved in the Screen Broadcast.

– You didn’t play that ball. Huh! Fucking the pellets of Satan! Körkkö shouted at the jury and marched away.

Körkkö cursed the jury in the past when KeK’s player’s whistle was fouled illegally illegal.

The jury admitted his mistake and gave the home team new punches. In the replay, Körkkö became nervous because the ball was played back to his opponent Topi Kososellawhich fed at lightning speed.

– (Judge’s) whistle came after the feed left. The locker can’t have a ball, Körkkö your foam.

The jury, in turn, vowed to whistle the game before Kosonen entered.

Körkkö was cautioned. The Baseball Federation considered the referee’s use of language outrageous and launched disciplinary proceedings on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Körkkö apologized for its use on KeK’s website.

– My actions towards the judges were inferior and not acceptable under any circumstances. My behavior does not in any way represent mine or Kempele’s world of values. Such behavior does not belong to baseball courts, nor in any case to a sporting event for the whole family

“Everyone too”

Baseball Association promised in honor of its centenary, pays special attention to respect for judges.

Executive Director of the Baseball Association Vesa Rämet is concerned about the treatment of the judges and condemns the eruption of Körkö.

– The behavior is not acceptable in any way. This is certainly not the way to go.

– The judge should not have to put up with that. The premise is not that the judge is on the field as a saliva cup. Every case is too much.

Rämet is pleased that on social media, players and game managers have also called for proper use against the referees. Körkkö already apologizes to the judges on the field.

– The referees are equally part of the game. They do demanding work out of love for the sport. Then teamwork and respect for others are essential on the ground.

A smart way

Rämet reminds that the decisions of the jury may be disagreed, as long as the other party is respected. Emphasis will be placed on baseball juniors coming to national camps this summer.

An example of a moderate approach was seen in the same KeKi – JoMa match. Topi Kosonen from Joensuu disagreed with the referee, but did not insult anyone.

– If someone does that at school, it will be forgiven. In the game, it’s two fires, Kosonen muttered.

– It was by no means unclear that the matter went wrong in Topi’s opinion. He expressed it with respect to everyone and in a very clever way, Rämet praises.

In baseball matches, the mouth goes often. Boundaries must be remembered.

– Verbalism must be within limits so that no one feels abused or threatening the situation.
