Teemu Eronen is leaving Pelicans – heading to Jyväskylä

Experienced Teemu Eronen will move to JYP for the next season, according to information received by Iltalehti. The EVU graduate is playing for the Pelicans for the second season now. He is the vice-captain of the team.

Erosen’s statistics this season include 48 matches and 3+23=26 power points in them. Last season, the man hit 14 hits and 34 power points for Lahti players.

The 180-centimeter Eronen has also played for the League in Jokers and HIFK. In total, the team that shoots from the left has played 454 regular season matches in the League.

The 32-year-old team played three seasons in the KHL, the clubs were Neftehimik, Vitjaz and later Jokerit.

The man played one season in Sweden before his transfer to the Pelicans. Ten years ago, Eronen was also seen in the A national team.

JYP needs packages for their team because Sami Niku leaves the team before the transfer deadline or in the summer at the latest.

The Pelicans are fourth in the league. JYP’s Series ranking is 14th.
