Veera, the daughter of former ice hockey player Teemu Selänte and his wife Sirpa Selänte, turned 18 on December 5.
Mother Sirpa published a sweet photo carousel of her daughter on Instagram, including pictures from her infancy to the present day.
– Our lovely, dear, very own princess turns 18 today. Good luck on coming of age in Finland, my little one. To me, you will always be my little girl, loyal friend and soul sister. Thank you for being exactly the way you are, mom wrote in the caption with hearts.

Like Sirpa, Teemu shared several photos from both her daughter’s childhood years and recent times. There are shots of the daughter’s soccer hobby as well as skating.

Teemu and Sirpa Selänne have been together for over thirty years. They got married in 1996, when their first child was also born. They live in the USA in California with their family, which in addition to Veera includes three more sons: Emil, An advantage and Levi.
