The retailer Tedi GmbH & Co. KG has expanded its management team into a trio.
On Friday, the company announced the appointment of Dietrich Heumann as Managing Director for Sales. In the future, he will form the management team together with CEO Petar Burazin and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Darius Kauthe.
In his new role, Heumann will be responsible for “in particular the operational and strategic management and further development of the existing sales structures,” the discounter said. In addition, he should “continue to promote the dynamic growth of national and international business”.
Heumann has many years of experience in retail. After career positions at Kik Textilien und Non-Food GmbH and Tchibo GmbH, he most recently worked as International Managing Director at Woolworth.
CEO Burazin, who moved from Woolworth to Tedi last year, explained the personnel decision: “Dietrich Heumann has proven sales expertise and shows a willingness to constantly and persistently explore new paths in order to achieve the best possible result for the company and employees.” , he explained in a statement.
