Ted Baker appoints new chief financial officer

Marc Dench has been appointed Chief Financial Officer at Ted Baker.

Dench is set to “help lead the next phase of the company’s transformation,” the British clothing retailer announced on Tuesday. He succeeds David Wolffe, who is leaving Ted Baker “to pursue another endeavor.”

Before joining Ted Baker, Dench worked at the digital health platform Health Hero. Before that he was Chief Financial Officer and Director of British fashion retailer Joules Group. He also served as CFO for Walgreens Boots Alliance’s Global Brands and International Retail division.

“Looking ahead, I’m excited to welcome Marc to the team,” said Ted Baker CEO Rachel Osborne. “His extensive retail, brand and digital experience will be a great asset to Ted Baker as we focus on the next phase of growth of this amazing global lifestyle brand.”

Wolffe has served as Chief Financial Officer at Ted Baker since early 2020. He led the company’s recapitalization. He also helped put the company back on a growth path.
