Ted Baker appoints former Esprit manager Jason Beckley as head of marketing and digital

British clothing retailer Ted Baker Plc has filled a key post. On Wednesday, the company announced the appointment of Jason Beckley as chief customer, marketing and digital officer. In his new role, he will head the Brand, Marketing, Customer and Digital departments with immediate effect and will also be responsible for the development of strategies and their implementation in these areas.

Beckley has many years of experience in the global fashion industry. Most recently, according to his new employer, he worked for clothing supplier Esprit as Interim Chief Marketing Officer. Before that, he held various management positions in marketing and strategy at well-known labels such as Ralph Lauren, Alexander McQueen, Clarks, Jack Wills and Alfred Dunhill.

“Refreshing and revitalizing the Ted Baker brand is a key element of our growth strategy,” said CEO Rachel Osborne in a statement. “We are delighted to welcome Jason to our leadership team, where his extensive experience will be invaluable in the ongoing turnaround of this amazing global lifestyle brand.”
