‘Technical problems’ at British air traffic control

LONDON (dpa-AFX) – British air traffic control has warned of flight delays due to “technical problems”. They have “introduced traffic flow restrictions to ensure safety,” said the National Air Traffic Services authority on Monday afternoon, according to the BBC. Work is in progress to find and fix the error. There was initially no further information on the duration and effects.

The Scottish airline Loganair had previously announced on the short message service X, formerly Twitter, that the air surveillance programs had failed across the country. Some passengers with destination Great Britain reported delays on social networks./bvi/DP/ngu
