Team van Wannes from Menen to the final World Cup acrogym

Wannes is 15 and gymnastics at Vaste Vuist Lauwe. In the quartet with three other Belgian athletes, he scored 29,190 points. This puts them ahead of the British (28,380) and the Israelis (28,260).

The Belgian women’s trio also delivered a great performance in the tempo exercise. With their score of 28.830, they were ahead of Portugal (28.410) and Israel (27.540). The Belgian duo for the mixed pairs took third place in the qualifiers.

Tickets for the Games

The three Belgian teams thus advance to the final in their competition. The World Cup ends on Sunday and is this year’s ideal preparation for the World Games, which are scheduled for this summer in Birmingham (7-17 July) in America.
