Team DSM has won the Tour of the Alps thanks to a strong example of teamwork. Romain Bardet and 22-year-old Dutchman Thymen Arensman accelerated on the final climb and managed to clear all competitors except for Michael Storer. Bardet therefore wins the round, ahead of Storer and Arensman. The stage win was for Thibaut Pinot.
