Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso (41) surprised not only the outside world with his move to Aston Martin, but also his current racing team Alpine. Team boss Otmar Szafnauer told English media that he only found out through the Aston Martin press release that the two-time world champion had signed with another team. The team has now announced a successor: reserve driver Oscar Piastri.
