Team Assen is already climbing the Alpe d’Huez: ‘The legs are good’

Even though it wasn’t the whole trip, everyone crossed the finish line cheering. And that was not without reason, because they ‘did it’ for a while, says a proud physical teacher Cristel de Jong. “I am very proud of this group of runners. Because it is quite something to walk up the mountain.”

Most students thought it was okay. “It went really well,” says one of the students. “I was planning on riding it two or three times, but after today I think I’ll go five or maybe six times. It felt really good today.”

The training was successful, because all participants are ready for Thursday. Because then all students and supervisors will climb the Alpe from turn 0.
