An underage girl was seriously injured in the area of Stroomlaan and Baroniebaan in Tilburg on Friday afternoon after a collision with a training car. She was on her bicycle when she was hit by the teaching vehicle.
The cyclist and the training car collided with each other on Friday afternoon around a quarter to two, in the area of Stroomlaan and Baroniebaan. The cyclist allegedly landed on the hood and windshield of the training car. According to a police spokeswoman, it is not yet clear how the accident could happen.
The victim was reportedly seriously injured in the accident. So heavy, in fact, that the ambulance did not wait for an air ambulance to land. The ambulance left urgently, after which the trauma helicopter met the ambulance en route to provide support.
The police have closed the area for investigation.
