With a blonde hairstyle, Elisa W. (29) taught elementary school students reading and arithmetic. With a dark wig and a false name, she spread fear and agitation on the right-wing extremist “Compact TV”. It was only after a newspaper report that the Ministry of Education released the teacher.
Sometimes black, sometimes blonde, sometimes Anna, sometimes Elisa: But the news anchors of the right-wing inflammatory channel “Compact TV” and the local television “Strausberg TV” have the same way of speaking – and the same eyes, nose, birthmarks. They are one and the same person.
Underneath the wig was teacher candidate Elisa W. (29). Since February, the probationary officer has been teaching at a small elementary school in the Märkisch-Oderland district. 220 students, 12 teachers – no one had any idea about her secret past life at “Compact TV”.
It was only through a “Tagesspiegel” report that the wig hoax came to light. Brandenburg’s Ministry of Education has now released the teacher from duty as a precautionary measure. Reason: “An anti-constitutional attitude will not be tolerated in school service.”
Because “Compact TV” spreads Kremlin propaganda and conspiracy theories and incites against the government and Islamic and Jewish organizations. According to the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, “Compact” wants to eliminate our free-democratic basic order and the right-wing extremist leader Jürgen Elsässer (66) “contributes to the overthrow of the regime”.
The Office for the Protection of the Constitution “collects information from all Compact employees and evaluates it,” says the Interior Ministry. But the intelligence services were deceived by wigs and false names for at least a year. It wasn’t until July 27th that they informed the Ministry of Education about Elisa W.. In vain!
The specialist department considered “no immediate legal consequences” necessary, the ministry admitted on Tuesday evening. Consequence: After the holidays, the former “Compact” presenter was allowed to continue teaching children. State Secretary Claudia Zinke (60) only found out about her officials’ misjudgment through the newspaper inquiry. And “instructed immediate release.”
