Taylor Swift has shared a new remix of her song “Lavender Haze” by Felix Jaehn. Born in Hamburg, he gave the song a faster tempo and partially distorted the vocals, turning the pop song into a title suitable for clubs.
“Lavender Haze” was first released on the singer’s tenth studio album, MIDNIGHTS, in 2022. The album broke several records. For example, it was the first since the 1980s to record more vinyl than CD sales. “Lavender Haze” was inspired by the series “Mad Men” — according to Swift, the song’s title is a 1950s idiom describing being in love.

Felix Jaehn has been a DJ since he was 16 years old. His breakthrough came in 2014 with a remix of Jamaican singer Omi’s “Cheerleader.” His first recording, the EP FELIX JAEHN, followed in 2016. He has worked with Mark Forster, Herbert Grönemeyer and Robin Schulz, among others.
