Taylor Swift Dedicates Emotional Performance to Late Fan (Video)

Ana Clara Benevides died of a heart attack just before Swift’s first concert in Rio de Janeiro.

After a fan died shortly before the start of the first “The Eras Tour” show in Rio de Janeiro, Taylor Swift was back on stage in the Brazilian city for another concert on November 19th. There she dedicated the song “Bigger Than the Whole Sky” to 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides, who suffered a fatal heart attack before the opening gig.

“Overwhelmed by grief”

The singer shared after the death of the woman in her Instagram story with: “I can’t believe I’m writing these words, but I’m heartbroken to say we lost a fan before my show tonight. I can’t tell you how shocked I am about this. There is very little information that I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young.” Swift added: “I feel overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it. I want to say now that I feel this loss deeply and my heart goes out to her family and friends.”
