With “Midnights” the musician has set a new record for the most streamed album within 24 hours on Spotify.
Spotify does not present concrete figures for record success. It also remains unclear who held the record until “Midnights”. Our review of the LP is HERE.
However, Swift was not always positive about Spotify: in 2014, Taylor Swift removed her works because she felt the remuneration for the musicians was unfair. They weren’t available there for three years, until they were uploaded again from one day to the next.
Taylor Swift is bursting with pride

“Midnights” literally paralyzed Spotify
Before “Midnights” set the new record, the record had temporarily paralyzed Spotify: A few minutes after “Midnights” was released, a total of 7,844 disruptions in the use of the streaming provider were reported to the “Downdetector” website from the USA, according to the Bloomberg platform .com Since Spotify had recently promoted Swift’s new record on Twitter, the disruptions could allegedly be traced back to it.
