At the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert of the Foo Fighters brought together musicians who had never met before. And yet they had one thing in common: They were admired by drummer Taylor Hawkins. To give back that love, artists and acts like Stewart Copeland, Paul McCartney, Roger Taylor, Brian May, Lars Ulrich, James Gang, The Pretenders and many more came together at London’s Wembley Stadium.
The speech at the beginning of the tribute concert was moving. For the first time, Dave Grohl broke his silence in the presence of his bandmates and announced a brilliant evening to honor their deceased friend.
