A year ago, the Davidssons helped HV71 back to the Swedish main league, so the brothers arrive in Pori with a certain kind of success streak.

A big role awaits both of them in Pori.

– Marcus and Jonathan have exactly the qualities that are needed in modern hockey, i.e. speed and playing skills and the ability to play in special situations. The talent of the players is at a high level and in terms of their age profile, they are players in their prime. We are very pleased that they wanted to come to Pori to develop and take responsibility, Ässie’s sports director Janne Vuorinen says in the announcement.

Marcus Davidsson finished 8+15 in 31 regular season games and 4+0 in the playoffs.

Big brother Jonathan scored 5+7 in 25 matches in the regular season. The spring matches became a catch 1+2.
