Waltteri Merelä rallied with goals in the regular season, but in the playoffs, most of the entries have been posted to the account. In Monday’s third final, he hands on a handsome 2-0 hit.

Merelä won the puck at the end and served the delicacy to the riser with perfect timing Otto to Widow.

– I saw the disc coming into the drum, and I noticed that there was a slightly younger, small-sized kit (Ruben Rafkin). I have to overcome such situations, Merelä repeated.

– The widow deceived her own husband and got up nicely. It was easy to enter.

TPS narrowed down at the start of the final round, but Tappara set off the win with 3 to 1 hits without major problems.

Leadership gaming

TPS’s offensive game produces shooting positions, but Tappara’s defensive defense mechanism keeps the best painting sector clean.

– TPS is a really good team and dangerous at the head of the attack, but we defend well. We have top packs, and the goalkeeper (Christian Heljanko) catches the rest, Merela comments.

– We have played a lot in the lead during the season. Everyone knows what to do on the ground.

TPS has made just three hits in the final series. The players in the annealed number one have only captured three (1 + 2) power points.

– Yes, it is a dangerous chain, Merelä reminded.

– You have to be awake with them.

A break game is waiting

Tappara have played 13 playoff matches. The team looks fresh.

– I could play at least 13 others – but hopefully not.

Tappara leads 3-0. The championship is interrupted on Tuesday in Turku.

– We need to realize that nothing has been won yet. All of these (finals) have been goal games, Merelä said.

– There’s a very game in the series ahead.
