A truck overturned at the slip road of the A37 near Nieuwlande this afternoon. The vehicle is lying on its side on the verge, which is why the access ramp was temporarily closed to traffic.
For unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the wheel at the intersection of the Johannes Poststraat with the slip road of the A37.
The tanker is filled with 32,000 liters of milk. The contents must first be pumped over, then the truck can be salvaged. It is not yet known how long this will take.
The tanker driver was not injured.
