Galatasaray started its preparations for the match it will play against Samsunspor in the 5th week of the Super League with training.
Training started with a dynamic warm-up at Florya Metin Oktay Facilities under the management of coach Okan Buruk. The training, which continued with 8 to 2 passing exercises in two groups, ended with ball possession exercises and wide area play. On the other hand, Galatasaray’s new transfer from Tottenham, one of the Premier League teams, Tanguy Ndombele, went to his first training session.
4 NAMES DID NOT TAKE PART IN THE TRAINING
4 players from Galatasaray did not take part in today’s training. Yellow-Reds’ Argentinian striker Mauro Icardi did not take part in training due to swelling in his ankle. Portuguese player Sergio Oliveira, who has had a hip injury for a while, and Wilfried Zaha, one of the new transfers, was not in team training due to a back muscle injury, but these players worked within a special program. On the other hand, Moroccan player Hakim Ziyech, who was not injured, was one of the players who did not take part in the training because he was not ready yet. These players are expected to work with the team next week.
The yellow-red team will continue their preparations for the Samsunspor match with double training tomorrow at 11.30 and 17.00.
