Tangarine brothers release album in Japan

The album Blank Cassette by the duo Tangarine is also released in Japan. The album by the twins Sander and Arnout Brinks, who grew up in Assen, was released in the Netherlands in June 2023.

“We received a message from someone from the P-Vine Records label who thought it was a very nice album and who wanted to release it in Japan,” says Arnout Brinks. “We responded to that, we signed a deal and then it was finalized. They also release a lot of other music from our genre, for example Venice or Young Gun Silver Fox.”

Brinks thinks it’s cool that it will soon be available in record stores in Japan. “There’s a gigantic record store in Tokyo, Tower Records, and that’s where it will be located. I can’t wait to get a photo with the ‘Tangarine’ container.”

The brothers also have plans to go to Japan. “We are already making contacts to see if we can go on tour there sometime. We will really do our best for that.”

“We make music that we really like and we think it’s a bonus if other people like it too. We prefer to reach as many people as possible with our music.”
