The public prosecutor’s office investigates whether there was a tampering when allocating the construction and exploitation of underground car parks in Nieuwpoort, and at the concession for parking management. The allocations date from 2012, when current mayor Kris Vandecasteele was still ships.
Vandecasteele responds: “I have no problem with research, but I don’t think something is wrong. We have nothing to hide.”
