The Rijksministerraad has agreed to the appointment of Mrs. MLP Ridderbeks as chief public prosecutor on Sint Maarten. She will act as the successor to Mr. H. Buist on 1 August, who will be appointed as deputy chief public prosecutor at the Rural Public Prosecutor’s Office on 1 July.
Mrs. Ridderbeks is currently working as a senior public prosecutor and replacement detective officer at the Limburg public prosecutor’s office. She is no stranger to Sint Maarten: she already fulfilled the position of public prosecutor on the island.
With this appointment, continuity and expertise is guaranteed in the leadership of the Public Prosecution Service on Sint Maarten.
