Gerard Ekdom, the figurehead of Talpa’s largest radio station Radio 10, would have received two offers for a real transfer. What does his boss have to say about that?
Radio 10 is John de Mol’s largest radio station and morning presenter Gerard Ekdom is its flagship. But how long can Talpa be sure to stay in the house? The boss of Radio Veronica, until recently a sister channel but now in the hands of competitor Mediahuis, has indicated to prey on Gerard.
Talpa responds
Another competitor, Qmusic parent DPG Media, would also like to have Gerard. In fact, there would already be an offer of 800 thousand euros to get him for the new golden oldies channel Joe.
