Talk show HLF8 returns, presenter still unknown | show

HLF8 returns to television after a summer break, but it is not yet known who will take on the presentation. A spokeswoman for Talpa told the ANP this when asked. Permanent presenter Johnny de Mol stopped working at his SBS6 talk show at the end of April due to accusations of misconduct against him.

We don’t know yet who will take on the presentation from August, the spokeswoman said. “We are still working on that.” It is therefore not yet known whether De Mol will take his old place as presenter again. After De Mol resigned as presenter, Leonie ter Braak and Hélène Hendriks took on the presentation of the SBS6 program.

The last episode of this season will air next Friday. The talk show will return to television from August 29. Marco Louwerens, television boss at Talpa, speaks of a program ‘with a nice, good atmosphere’. ,,That translates positively, in both content and market shares. Also in the new season remains HLF8 an important part of our programming.”

De Mol announced at the end of a HLF8– broadcast at the end of April for the time being with the presentation in fuses after a new allegation of inappropriate behavior. “I will stop presenting my program for the time being,” said the presenter. “In addition to the previous allegations and suspicions, there is a new, anonymous false accusation voiced. This makes it impossible for me and the editors to continue this work.” The anonymous report followed an earlier report from De Mol’s ex Shima Kaes in which she accused De Mol of abuse during their relationship in 2015.
