Talitha Muusse is very disappointed that she gets so many ‘hate reactions’ after misleading Yvonne Coldeweijer. According to the BNR presenter, these all come from Yvonne’s followers.
Yvonne Coldeweijer was misled in a rather dubious way by BNR Nieuwsradio and Talitha Muusse. In fact: BNR appears to have messed with the snuff film with which she misled Yvonne. Meanwhile, Talitha is especially busy with the fact that she would get so many ‘hate reactions’ from Yvonne’s followers.
‘Retarded bitch!’
Talitha finds it very annoying. She says in the gossip show allure: “Now with Yvonne it was really ehh… At the beginning it was just love. When we did that action it was just: ‘Good action!’, and: ‘Well done!’ But then it turned again when she started posting about me.”
She continues: “At first I got normal reactions of: ‘It’s good that you are exposing it’ and all that. After that I really got all her followers and that was really like: ‘Retarded bitch!’, ‘sad!’, ‘sad figure’, ‘you do everything for attention’, ‘leave her alone’. It was completely full of hate.”
Need attention?
Talitha is often criticized for apparently needing so much attention, including from Angela de Jong. “I always think that’s the worst argument people can give. The essence of your work is that you publish something and that has been successful when many other media take over.”
She continues: “I always think it’s such a lame argument. That is to say to a swimmer: ‘You do spend a lot of time in the water.’ It’s our day job to do that, very weird.”

How does Talitha look back on the Yvonne riot? “It was a really tough week. That Monday I got up at 5 a.m. or 5:30 a.m. or so. I knew the message from BNR was going out, but we didn’t expect it to be such a big storm to be honest.”
Ultimately, it is not Yvonne, but Talitha who has received the most criticism during this riot. Yvonne also lashed out hard at her. “Yes, really sour, like: ‘Failed Op1 presenter!’, and: ‘Who are you then?’ That might be her style.”
