Talitha Muusse gets a big twist on her ears from Yvonne Coldeweijer. The juice queen thinks that the BNR presenter and professional Op1 basher is mainly looking for a portion of media attention.
It must be a bit disappointing for Talitha Muusse and her team at BNR Nieuwsradio. They had shot a whole sniff scene in the toilet to lure Yvonne Coldeweijer into a trap, but the juice queen didn’t exactly go big with that. Talitha herself is now going big with it. “She wants media attention”, thinks Yvonne.
Talitha’s sniff video
Talitha recorded a fake video of her pretending to snort cocaine in the powder room and sent it to Yvonne anonymously. Talitha probably hoped for a huge media frenzy, but it didn’t materialize. Yvonne only dropped it in her private chat group with three thousand members and then also with three blows on the arm.
The reason Yvonne decided to publish is because she heard both sides of the matter with Talitha and she reacted very strangely. She decided to immediately block the juice queen after a few messages, of course in the hope that Yvonne would feel wet and publish the video. That’s what happened.
‘Career in a slump?’
Talitha and BNR are now going big with the ‘unmasking’ of Yvonne and are bringing it to almost all media: even the NOS message about it. However, you may wonder why everyone is so shocked: the sources that Yvonne has in her stories Callers ‘spies’ have been labeled as ‘initiates’ in the tabloids for years.
According to Yvonne, it is clear why she is treated like this as a high gossip tree: Talitha is just out for attention, she says. The showbiz hyena scornfully calls her ‘the fired presenter of Op1’. “They misled me with fake juice and even made the national press with it. Well, that was a while ago, wasn’t it, girl? Was your career in a slump?”
“That makes sense, doesn’t it?”
Yvonne doesn’t think it’s that strange that she picks up a sniff video of a celebrity in her reporting. “If you secretly sniff a key at the sink in a video, I think it is likely that you use coke there. That’s logical right? In addition, I have heard both sides of the argument and also mentioned that the video may be fake.”
Talitha, according to Yvonne, is out for attention. “I hear that Talith has all planned interviews on camera about me today, including with RTL Boulevard. Meiddd ?, are you using me for media attention? Wow how embarrassing.”
“Gossip baths okay?!”
Many visitors to NU.nl are surprised by the fuss. “And regular tabloids are ok?”, says Ordinary† “After all, everything in it is true? I don’t like it at all, but the fuss that suddenly arises about juice channels is such nonsense. (…) De Privé or the Story also ask everything with a question mark behind it.”
Pereneter thinks the fuss is exaggerated, say he. “It escapes me a bit what they want to demonstrate now. That Coldewijer posts things if they have value for her channel? Suppose you send this to Privé or Weekend, then it will simply be posted and no one will mention it.”
‘Quite sad’
Jan Dijkgraaf, columnist and Meiland biographer, calls Talitha a ‘professional attention grabber’. He finds it especially astonishing that BNR is so big with this ‘news’. “It was the second most important piece of news on the BNR website this morning. After the live blog about the war in Ukraine. That still is. (…) Pretty sad”, he writes†
Story journalist Nick Dijkman is also not impressed. “That prank of BNR vs. Yvonne Coldeweijer was a total failure, right? If you do something like that, come up with three or four examples spread over a number of weeks… Missed opportunity.”
And opinion site No style finds Talitha’s action laughable. “Congratulations girl. From now on, all celebrities who stage videos themselves and who publish them via an anonymous account on Instagram are outlawed. What a mistake.”
