The handball foxes continue to surf the wave of success.

In the eleventh game of the season (9x league, 2x Euro), the Berliners remain undefeated, winning the duel in the European League against Bidasoa Irun (Spain) 34:29 (18:15).

As expected, coach Jaron Siewert (28) stays with his Euro rotation in front of 4517 fans in the Schmeling Hall, brings in the wingers Valter Chrintz and Milos Vujovic for Lindberg and Freihöfer, and his colleague Victor Kireev is in goal instead of Dejan Milosavljev.

As in the Bundesliga, the foxes are committed to work and quickly lead 11:5 (17th). Everything is going according to plan until halftime. But then an inexplicable break-in. Passing mistakes and misses follow each other for six minutes, suddenly the Spaniards lead 21:20 (36th).

Fortunately, captain Paul Drux (28/6 goals) and the outstanding young star Nils Lichtlein (20/7 goals) with their game solutions bring the foxes back on the road to victory (29:23/49.). Lichtlein does his best fox game as Gidsel’s replacement.
