Takko Fashion plans 300 shops in three years.
Takko Fashion is planning to open around 300 new shops in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands over the next three years to 2028, the company announced on Monday. At least the first 60 branches are still planned for the current financial year.
The extended branch network is intended to strengthen the presence in specialist market and shopping centers and drive a strategic expansion in city centers in order to make the product range even more known: inside. In addition to the new openings, the existing branch network is also modernized and equipped with a new store design. In addition, the Takko-Kund: interior app is expanded to further strengthen the customer: internal bond.
“Our growth strategy focuses on our core business in three areas: We rely on continuous product innovation to offer our customers quality fashion and fashion trends at discount prices,” said Takko CEO Marto Pessina. “At the same time, we are expanding our branch network and strengthening customer loyalty by investing in our loyalty program. The recent positive results give us incentive so that we have made our growth goals even more ambitious.”
The decision to expand the branch network is based on successful business development and on strong customers: interior demand, according to the message. Takko has completed the past two financial years with record sales and also expect a similarly strong result for the recently ended financial year. However, this will not be announced until the beginning of June. The third quarter of the 2024/25 financial year has already completed the textile discounter with a solid sales increase.
