The textile discounter Takko Fashion relies on artificial intelligence.
The company, based in Telgte in Münsterland, is introducing its own chatbot for employees, Takko announced on Thursday. The bot was developed based on the AI language model GPT-4 and is intended to offer employees the opportunity to access this technology without compromising data security.
“While we already use AI at Takko Fashion for specific tasks such as location analysis during expansion and for discounts in stores, the current GPT-4 instance marks the starting point for our future AI offensive at Takko Fashion,” says Bastian King, Chief Information Officer at Takko.
GPT-4, or Generative Pre-trained Transformer 4, multimodal large language model from OpenAI, on which Chat GPT is also based. The Takko chatbot will be further developed in the future and will be introduced department by department in the company. It starts with the headquarters in Telgten, then the international teams will follow. There will also be further training courses in the field of AI for employees.
“We are currently enabling our colleagues to work easily and securely with the chatbot based on GPT-4. This allows our teams to learn AI-powered work in a safe environment,” said King.
