Telgte-based textile discounter Takko Fashion appoints Stephan Hungeling as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Hungeling will take up his new role on September 1 and will be responsible for the areas of finance and controlling, law and compliance as well as IT, the textile discounter announced on Thursday.
The new chief financial officer succeeds Kurt Rosen, who is leaving the company on “best terms” after a successful transaction to realign the capital structure. He will report directly to CEO Tjeerd Jegen.
In the past, Hungeling was Managing Director of the jewelry and watchmaker group Christ Group since 2017. There he significantly advanced the internationalization of the company. He previously gained experience as CFO at the cosmetics group Douglas, where he was responsible for the DACH region and managed the implementation of a financial excellence process.
“Stephan Hungeling has made a significant contribution to the repositioning and success of European market leaders in the consumer goods industry,” says Tjeerd Jegen, CEO of Takko Fashion. “He brings a deep understanding of corporate strategy, transformation and digitization. His vision and industry knowledge will help us successfully execute our strategy.”
