Taiki Yanagida fell under his horse and died

Rider Magic Yanagida28, passed away last week Wednesday at Waikato Hospital The New Zealand Herald news.

Yanagida was run over by his horse and died from his injuries.

Yanagida was participating in a race in Cambridge, New Zealand with his horse when the horse fell.

The Japanese rider’s helmet flew off during the fall and he was partially trapped under his horse. In addition to this, another horse that came from behind did not have time to dodge Yanagida and stomped heavily on Yanagida’s back.

Yanagida suffered brain damage, in addition to damage to his spinal cord. He was placed in an induced coma at the hospital and never regained consciousness.

If he had still woken up, Yanagida’s spinal cord was so badly damaged that he probably wouldn’t have been able to walk again.

The 28-year-old instructor was preceded in death by his mother Kayano and my sister Chia too in the presence of. They had rushed from Japan on Thursday to Yanagida’s hospital.

The accident has shocked species people. Yanagida is the first instructor since 2016 to die following a fall in competition in New Zealand. The previous one was Rebecca Blackwho passed away in December 2016.

Yanagida said in June that his mother was against a racing career. Yanagida moved to Australia at the age of 18, from where he moved to New Zealand.

– My mother didn’t approve of my decision, she said that I have to go to university first. I was at university for a year before I left for Australia to become a racehorse.

One of the country’s most successful racing riders Lance O`Sullivan said that the news of the death was heartbreaking.

– He was a good young man, very dedicated to his career, O`Sullivan said.
