Tahmina Akefi bashs again despite support from Özcan Akyol: ‘Scurrel!’

Tahmina Akefi remains under fire, even now that Özcan Akyol has recorded the prime time on television for her. “She was just a free-range, like Peter R. de Vries had more.”

She calls herself the great love of Peter R. de Vries’ life: journalist Tahmina Akefi. However, the way she generates attention and money with their ‘love story’ causes quite a bit of annoyance. Many people think that she was not as close to the murdered crime journalist as she claims.

Tahmin under fire

Especially the fact that Tahmina has also released a book about her love life with Peter after a TV documentary causes a lot of irritation. However, she claims that the book was originally Peter’s plan and that he had already gone to a publisher for it. That story is supported by Özcan Akyol.

Özcan is good friends with the boss of the publishing house in question, Mai Spijkers, and confirms Tahmina’s story. However, critics wonder how reliable Özcan’s statement is, because the publishing house naturally benefits from Tahmina not being seen as some kind of fantasist.

Silent Peter

Crime journalist Henk Strootman, who knew Peter well, is not convinced by Özcan. “I saw Özcan Akyol stand up for her in Today Inside. Well, what shall I say about her?”, he responds in Nieuwe Revu.

Hank is not convinced. “I think she makes it all bigger than it is, because Peter – just like Kees van der Spek – I have rarely heard about her. Peter always spoke with a lot of affection and love about his family, so about Jacqueline (his ex-wife, ed.) and their children.”

‘Just a fling’

It rarely happened that Peter had something to say about Tahmina, Henk continues. “If he did talk about Tahmina, it came across as a fling to me, as he had more.”

He continues: “Partly because of everything that has come out about her, including that affair at the NPO, I have the impression that it is a matter of attention. She started to become something because she was with Peter and all of a sudden that fell away; I think she wants to fill that gap by screaming for attention.”

What does Keith say?

Kees van der Spek does not want to say anything more about this matter. “Sorry, I’m not going to do this, it won’t burn my fingers. I don’t feel like that shit at all,” he says when Nieuwe Revu calls him.

He also does not want to give an opinion about Tahmina’s book. “Yes, I understand that you are curious about that. But I’m not going to get into this if you don’t mind. That wasp’s nest, I don’t feel like it. I just make good television programs, I like that much more.”
