The real estate company TAG Immobilien will be included in the Stoxx Europe 600 stock index on December 18th.
Other German companies apart from TAG Immobilien are not affected by the changes to the Stoxx Europe 600, according to a statement published by index provider Qontigo on Friday evening. Other inclusions include the Norwegian online classifieds portal operator Adevinta, the British food manufacturer Cranswick, the Portuguese bank BCO Comercial Portugues, the Swiss investment services provider Swissquote, the Danish biotech company Zeeland Pharma and the French oilfield supplier Vallourec.
The Swiss semiconductor manufacturer AMS Osram, the British oil company Energean OilGas, the Norwegian semiconductor specialist Nordic Semiconductor, the Norwegian supplier for the alternative energy industry NEL ASA, the Swedish casino operator and gaming provider Unibet Group, the British biotech group Genus and the Italian agricultural machinery manufacturer CNH must be eliminated Industrial.
Such changes are particularly important for funds that actually replicate indices (physically replicating ETFs). There then needs to be a corresponding shift, which can have an impact on share prices.
