‘t Saam regrets a fight in Diksmuide: “We are taking appropriate measures”
Six teams of police came to the scene to separate the two groups. In total, about 30 people were involved, both minors and adults. The police arrested one adult and confiscated a knife, but the young person was later released.

According to the first findings, the conflict is the result of an argument the day before that arose on the Cardijnlaan campus of ‘t Saam secondary school. The school regrets the situation: “We deeply regret this situation in which some students of the school, but especially third parties, were involved,” says director Bart Laleman. “We completely disapprove of such situations. As always, we have a zero tolerance for violence.”
