A Syrian refugee family was welcomed to Italy on Friday thanks to a photo of them that went viral. The photo, taken by Turkish photographer Mehmet Aslan, was last named Photo of the Year at the Siena International Photo Awards (SIPA). An organizer of the festival decided to start an action to bring the family to Italy, according to the Italian news agency ANSA.
