Swiss can vote in a referendum on Sunday on a reform of the pension system. After unsuccessful efforts in 2004 and 2017 to adapt the system to people’s increased life expectancy and the coming wave of retirees from the baby boom generation, the government now hopes to be successful. The increase in the retirement age of women from 64 to 65 is particularly controversial.
