Switzerland will introduce a “13th month” for the statutory pension, by analogy with the 13th month for wages. In a referendum today, a majority of the population and the cantons voted in favor of the unions’ proposal, reports the gfs.bern institute. It is the first time that the Swiss have said “yes” to a trade union initiative during a popular survey.
