VELSEN-NORTH – Several emergency services were looking for a missing swimmer on the beach of Velsen-Noord on Sunday evening. Several helicopters flew through the air and searches were carried out on the water from boats. The missing swimmer, a 22-year-old man from Echt (Limburg) was found just before 8 p.m. and removed from the water, but resuscitation was of no avail.
