On Wednesday, the day of Remembrance Day, an apartment complex on the Achterste Hil in Kaatsheuvel was defaced with swastikas. The report of the graffiti came to the police at a quarter past twelve.
The swastikas were probably sprayed on the building with spray paint cans in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. Lighting was also destroyed and plants were pulled from the garden. Housing association Casade has reported vandalism.

Police are continuing to investigate and are calling for witnesses to come forward. She is also still looking for camera images of buildings in the vicinity of the apartment complex.
It is not clear whether the swastikas have already been removed from the building.
