Two swastikas were sprayed on the public road in Bloemendaal last weekend. Mayor Elbert Roest reports this on Facebook. The swastikas have since been made unrecognizable. The mayor reports.
One of the two swastikas was found on the road surface of the Duinlustweg in Overveen. That is close to the popular Kraantje Lek. The second was discovered on the viaduct in Vogelenzang.
The mayor indicates in his message that he is reporting discrimination. He calls it “unacceptable and reprehensible.” Roest is angry that these expressions of National Socialism were made precisely in the week before 4 and 5 May. He calls on any witnesses to report to the police.
