In the parking lot at the Enkhuizen supermarket I see dozens of enthusiastic elderly people in small groups, looking down on various standing tables, while their hands pass on unknown objects. When I ask a gentleman why everyone is so passionate about their work, he answers: “Today is the big exchange day of the historical picture promotion of the Albert Heijn, my collection book is almost full!”
