Transfer from 2nd to 3rd league?
SV Sandhausen and defender Carlo Sickinger are going their separate ways. The existing contract will be terminated by mutual agreement on June 30th, the second division club announced. The two-footed professional switched from 1. FC Kaiserslautern to SVS on a free transfer in 2021/22. In the back series, the 24-year-old made 15 appearances on loan for SV Elversberg.
In all likelihood, Sickinger will be transferred there permanently. “I’m hopeful that we can do it,” said Elversberg’s sporting director Nils-Ole Book recently compared to the “image”. The club was recently promoted to the 3rd division.
