Second division club SV Elversberg has signed central defender Florian Le Joncour from Belgian first division club RWD Molenbeek. The 28-year-old defender signed a contract at Kaiserlinde until 2025. “Florian will be able to help us directly as a very experienced central defender with a strong physical presence,” explained SVE sports director Ole Book.

“We are sure that with his requirements he can play a good role in the team in the long term,” continued Book. The 1.93 meter tall left-footed Le Joncour, for whom Elversberg is the second stop outside his home country of France, announced: “I am very excited about the new challenge in a new environment. SV Elversberg is new to the league, but has clear ideas and goals. I’m looking forward to an interesting task and getting to know the entire team and the club now.” The Frenchman is the first winter addition to the 12th table.
