Bringly, a sustainable shipping platform for stationary retailers and online shops, is expanding to Germany.
Last year, the Dutch company offered the service in Berlin, Munich and Hamburg. Now ten more cities will follow, Bringly announced on Wednesday. With existing customers and local partners, the company has optimized delivery processes and services, explains Bringly CEO Rajiv Laigsingh.
“The cities in Germany are bigger than in the Netherlands, so a different approach is needed. Sustainable same-day delivery is not yet standard in Germany, but thanks to our scalable network of bicycles, electric vehicles and intelligent software, we are taking steps in the right direction, ”said Kas van den Ban, Head of Partnerships.
The company offers one-day courier services with bicycles and electric vehicles at the city level. At the beginning of the year, Ponooc and Shamrock Ventures, among others, invested in the company. The expansion in Europe is to be driven forward with the next round of investments.
