More and more food that is sold in the supermarket is given a sustainability label and more and more Dutch people buy sustainable food. In 2021, products with a quality mark accounted for 21 percent of the total food turnover. Eggs and fish most often have a quality mark, according to the Monitor Quality Marks Retail by research agency IRI.
