Suspicious gunman Alblasserdam hears whether he will be held longer | Inland

A 34-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl were killed in the shooting at the Molensingel in Alblasserdam on Friday morning, May 6. A 12-year-old boy and a 20-year-old woman were seriously injured. They were recently allowed to go home after a stay in hospital. The suspect, John S., was a client of the Tro Tardi care farm in the past.

The man from neighboring village Oud-Alblas is also suspected of shooting a 60-year-old man in Vlissingen two days earlier. The lifeless body of the operator of Mijn Schoenmaker and the Zeeland Slipper Factory was found on 4 May in his shop in Sint Jacobsstraat.

The criminal investigation into the three murders and two attempted murders is still ongoing. The session of the council chamber is not public. After a period of 90 days, the criminal case must be heard in public by the court for the first time.
